Don't you just love Pinterest?
If you aren't familiar with it, it is a social networking site of sorts. But it is also a great way to visually organize all the things that you love and to share them with friends. It's almost like a visual record of your favorite places.
It's a great place to plan for events too. If you are planning a birthday party, for instance, you can search the web for ideas related to your theme and then add the images you like to your bulletin board. Then you can see all your ideas in one place, at one time. This makes for a great planning tool.
We have an account and are loving the process of posting, or "pinning" as Pinterest calls it. We also love sharing with others and seeing what others are sharing. Check out our page to see photos of our limos, other cool limousines, information related to limousines, Bellingham and ideas for planning for a wedding, birthdays, showers or the Prom.

And if you need an invitation, please feel free to ask and we'll be happy to send one to you.

New to Bellingham?
If you are new to our area, welcome! You have probably done your research and know all the great things about the area. It was probably all in the brochure you received. But I just want to tell you about a few things that I love about the area, besides the natural beauty and the wonderful people that make-up this community.
1. The food: Every area can boast about their food, but this area really has a lot of special foods and restaurants to offer. Our fresh salmon is amazing! When we say "fresh," we mean FRESH out of the Pacific. It can be found in markets, can be purchased directly from the fishermen who catch it and is served in many local restaurants. Other foods we can brag about are the chocolates, our beer, wine and of course, the coffee.
2. The community: And by community, I don't just mean the area that we live in, though that it is also amazing and noteworthy. By "community" I mean the people who live and work here. We really do care about each other. When one member of the community is in need, people here rally together to see that he feels loved and receives the help he needs. You'll find many generous people who give of their time, money and talent to care for others.
3. The weather: I know, I know... It rains here, but did you know that there are areas in Texas that receive more rain fall than we do every year? We just get ours in little sprinkles throughout the year, while they get heavy downpours less frequently. The sun WILL shine tomorrow and probably the next day too. But if you want snow, Mt. Baker is just a glance or a short drive away.
4. The music: No matter what style of music you're into, you're likely to find others who have the same taste. There are many opportunities for all flavors of music. The area is full of great concert venues including the world famous Mt. Baker Theater and Western Washington University.
5. The festivals: The people in this area know how to party all year round. There are festivals that happen year around that celebrate everything from the agriculture to the multi-culture.
If you need more reasons to love this area, just look outside. The reasons are all around us in the beautiful, lush forests, clear lakes and snow capped mountains.

Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is not too far away! If you really want to impress your loved one this year, consider some of these fun ideas to help show you care.
1) Surprise your loved-one by picking him up in a stretch limousine for work. Or arrange to have a town ca pick him after a long day. Hide in the back of the limousine, or if you can't be together on the special day, have the back of the limousine filled with balloons.
2) Have a uniformed chauffeur deliver a dozen roses via a limousine.
3) Create a love-themed scavenger hunt. Write clues that will take your sweetie to the place you first met, the location of your first kiss or where you got engaged. Rent a limousine and have the chauffeur supply the clues to your loved-one as needed.
4) Out of town? Give your honey a gift card to her favorite restaurant, a spa treatment and a limousine rental. She will feel spoiled and loved even if you aren't there to share it with her.
5) Make a fancy picnic and take a limousine to your favorite outdoor spot to enjoy it.
6) Rent a limousine and bring your favorite movie, a blanket and a favorite beverage. Have the limousine driver park in a scenic location, watch the movie and snuggle.
7) Looking for a more traditional date? A nice dinner, roses and a good movie always make for a fun date. Add a limousine to the evening to make it more exciting.
8) Take the day off and go on a day trip via limousine. Visit a Seattle museum and have dinner in a little downtown eateries. You can also visit a tourist attraction, go to a concert or play.
9) Double Date! Want to share the cost of a limousine rental? Invite another couple along for the fun. Visit a favorite restaurant or go on a progressive dinner date.
10) Take a limousine to go dancing or to enjoy the night life.

Prom!
You might think it's too early to start thinking about Prom, but the truth is... it's not! Many students start planning a year ahead of time. If you are planning on going to Prom this year, you should start deciding where you want to eat, what type of clothes you're going to wear, who you are going to go with and how you're going to get there.
Here are some ideas about how you can use a limo to make your prom night more memorable:
1) Ladies can take a limo to get their hair or nails done or to have a pre-prom spa treatment.
2) Gentleman can use a limo or town car to pick-up their tux or their flowers at the florist.
3) Of course, a limo is an awesome way to arrive at Prom.
4) Capture the moment by hiring a photographer to take photos of you and your friends in a limousine.
5) Use a limo to drive you and your friends home safely.
6) Talk with parents and then book a limo for an After party. The limo can drive you and your friends to breakfast in Seattle and then home nice and safe.

Winter Weather Driving
Here are some tips to help keep you safe while driving on icy roads.
These and other tips can be found at : http://www.weather.com/activities/driving/drivingsafety/drivingsafetytips/snow.html
- Slow down and leave space between you and the car in front of you. You may need to make a sudden stop ans you should have at least three times more space between your vehicle and the one in front of you than you usually leave.
- Apply brakes gently. This will help you not to skid.
- Turn your headlights on, even during the daylight hours. This will help other motorists see you. t
- Clean both your headlights, rear lights and windshield.
- Use low gears for traction.
- Do not use your cruise control on icy roads.
- Bridges, overpasses and less traveled roads are more likely to be icy. Even if the temperature is above freezing, you can encounter ice. This is especially true in shady areas.
- Do not pass snow plows and sanding trucks. The drivers of these large vehicles have limited visibility and blind spots. Additionally, the road in front of these vehicles are likely to be more slippery than the road that has been plowed or sanded behind them.
- Don't be overly confident in the performance of your vehicle in all conditions. Even a four-wheel and front-wheel drive vehicle can slip and slide on winter roads.

Christmas Party in a Limo?
It makes sense, doesn't it? One of our regular clients came-up with the concept of hosting her Christmas party in one of our limousines. We thought it was a fantastic idea and so has a lot of other people. Now, hosting a party in one of our limos is a regular occurrence. The benefits?
1. No cleaning-up, setting-up or decorating before the party.
2. You don't have to think of games or entertainment because guests are busy enjoying the limousine ride.
3. Economical: No need to rent a banquet hall or restaurant for your party. Save money on renting a facility.
4. Fun: Many people enjoy looking at Christmas lights while riding in a limousine, while others simply want to wave at out the windows of their coach.
and finally,
5. No clean-up: Leave that to us.

Remember Those in Need
As I hurry around the house putting-up decorations or baking Christmas cookies, I hope that I take the time to remember those who don't have a house to decorate or money to buy the ingredients to make treats. I hope I remember those who don't have a family to spend time with or even a friend who cares. I invite you to pause with me during this busy season to be thankful for what you have and to remember those who don't have.
We'd like to invite you to bring a non-perishable food item with you on your limousine, van, sedan or mini-coach rental. We will be making a food donation to the food bank to help make someone's holiday a little happier.
