Bachelorette Ideas.....

Are you trying to figure out the prefect way to celebrate an upcoming wedding? How about bridesmaid paintball? Find the ugliest bridesmaid dresses you can find (think low-end thrift store or the back of your closet) and have a blast playing paint ball.

Be sure to get a white dress for the bride to be and dot her in paint that matches her wedding day colors. Having fun (and getting a little messy) together is the perfect way to bond before a big and sometimes stressful day.

Enhance the party by renting a limousine from Best Limousines and Sedans in Bellingham. We will treat you like Royalty (even very messy royalty who is covered in paint). And we'll be sure to get you to your favorite restaurant, bar or club after your playful paintball game.

Call us for more ideas on how to make your bachelorette party memorable.

Prom!

You might think it's too early to start thinking about Prom, but the truth is... it's not! Many students start planning a year ahead of time. If you are planning on going to Prom this year, you should start deciding where you want to eat, what type of clothes you're going to wear, who you are going to go with and how you're going to get there.

Here are some ideas about how you can use a limo to make your prom night more memorable:
1) Ladies can take a limo to get their hair or nails done or to have a pre-prom spa treatment.
2) Gentleman can use a limo or town car to pick-up their tux or their flowers at the florist.
3) Of course, a limo is an awesome way to arrive at Prom.
4) Capture the moment by hiring a photographer to take photos of you and your friends in a limousine.
5) Use a limo to drive you and your friends home safely.
6) Talk with parents and then book a limo for an After party. The limo can drive you and your friends to breakfast in Seattle and then home nice and safe.

Winter Weather Driving

Here are some tips to help keep you safe while driving on icy roads.

  1. Slow down and leave space between you and the car in front of you. You may need to make a sudden stop ans you should have at least three times more space between your vehicle and the one in front of you than you usually leave.
  2. Apply brakes gently. This will help you not to skid.
  3. Turn your headlights on, even during the daylight hours. This will help other motorists see you. t
  4. Clean both your headlights, rear lights and windshield.
  5. Use low gears for traction.
  6. Do not use your cruise control on icy roads.
  7. Bridges, overpasses and less traveled roads are more likely to be icy. Even if the temperature is above freezing, you can encounter ice. This is especially true in shady areas.
  8. Do not pass snow plows and sanding trucks. The drivers of these large vehicles have limited visibility and blind spots. Additionally, the road in front of these vehicles are likely to be more slippery than the road that has been plowed or sanded behind them.
  9. Don't be overly confident in the performance of your vehicle in all conditions. Even a four-wheel and front-wheel drive vehicle can slip and slide on winter roads.

Remember Those in Need

As I hurry around the house putting-up decorations or baking Christmas cookies, I hope that I take the time to remember those who don't have a house to decorate or money to buy the ingredients to make treats. I hope I remember those who don't have a family to spend time with or even a friend who cares. I invite you to pause with me during this busy season to be thankful for what you have and to remember those who don't have.

We'd like to invite you to bring a non-perishable food item with you on your limousine, van, sedan or mini-coach rental. We will be making a food donation to the food bank to help make someone's holiday a little happier.

Nearing the End of the Year...

Have you accomplished what you wanted to do this year? Are you out of debt, thinner or happier than this time last year? A friend of mine showed me a letter he had written to himself exactly one year ago. In the letter he had congratulated himself for the accomplishments he had made that year. He hadn't reached all the goals he had wanted to and smiled at his words of congratulations as he read them to me. But he was closer to the goals he has been trying to reach for years. I encourage you to write a letter to yourself and in a year, open it up to see if you have improved your life or world

Question

Would you rather ride in a limousine during the daylight hours or at night?

A day time limousine rental can be fun because you can look out the windows to see all the people on the street looking at you and waving. You can stop at parks and other outdoor destinations to enjoy the weather or scenery.

A night time limousine rental is fun because you can see the light show inside the limousine a lot better. You can also watch television more easily.

What are your thoughts?
