Halloween plans?

We know that it is a little early to start carving the pumpkin, but it isn't too early to start making plans for the Halloween season.  Here are a few events worth checking out this fall:

Trick or Treat: Downtown Bellingham businesses invite little ghosts and goblins to trick or treat at their store fronts. The event takes place between 3 and 5 pm.

Dracula: Get into the spirit of the season by attending Northwest Ballet Theater's Dracula. John Bishop's original show is sure to delight guests. Ballet with a bite! October 12 and 13 at Mt. Baker Theatre and October 25 at McIntyre Hall in Mt. Vernon, WA. http://northwestballet.org/theater/ for more information.

Nightmare at the Spark Museum: Celebrate Halloween with “Nightmare at the Spark Museum,” a series of Frankenstein inspired electrical shows featuring jaw-dropping devices, including the 4 million-volt MegaZapper. Watch as Mad Scientists perform Last Rights of the Evil Dr. Morbius! See the incredible Cage of Death! Hear Elvis, the singing Tesla Coil! Feel the power of Franklin, the Museum’s schizoid talking robot! Guest appearance from Benjamin Franklinstein!

Summer plans include a limo ride?

Here are some helpful tips that can help you make the most of your limousine ride this summer.

1. Create a play list: Include your favorite songs. Think about those people who are going to be riding with you and if possible, include one or two of their favorites too. If there is a theme to your party, consider having a few songs that match it.

2. Pick-up at one location: If possible, have all your guests meet at central location and drop off at a single place as well. This helps to make sure that everyone in the party has the same amount of time to ride in the limousine.

3. Eat before or after your ride: Why pay for a limousine while you are not inside enjoying it? Make your dinner reservations for before the ride or directly after.

4. Bring a movie: Limousines are equipped with movie players DVD and BlueRay players, so bring your favorite movie to help make your ride extra special.

5. Bring a favorite beverage: Though you can not eat in our limousines, you are welcome to enjoy your favorite beverage.
